Ambition

The seven-year old made an announcement today.

"I know what I want to be when I grow up."

"What's that?"

"I want to be a homeless person."

The way things are going, she could get her wish!

Ha -- reminds me of the Deep Thought that says something like...

I asked my mom if it were true that I could be anything I wanted to be when I grew up. She answered, "You ask a lot of questions for a garbage man."

I say,...
If she's behaving well, let it run it's course. Next week it will be something else.
If she's misbehaving, set up a tent in the back yard and let her get a head start on the goal.
Thanks for sharing a memorable life moment.

That's funny! One of the older ones pitched a tent in the back yard 2 years ago and declared she'd finally got her own room. She slept out there for a couple of months before it got too cold. We had visitors recently who were disappointed to find our "addition" had been disassembled.
