God makes light shine out of darkness. He hides his greatest treasure--his own glory shining in the face of Jesus--in the hearts of his people, fragile and simple as clay jars. It reminds us that the power is not from us, but from God.
As I dip my quill (electronic though it may be) to write this blog, the title Clay Inkpot reminds me where the power and wisdom come from. If what you read has no merit, that's where bits of me have flaked off and muddied the ink.

Where in the World?
I plan to write a little about my trip after I have a day or two to decompress, but here's a little taste. Can you guess where I've been?
Don't peek at the comments if you want to figure it out for yourself. Someone just might give it away!
I'm guessing Missouri - Specifically Branson and Wyatt and Mansfield (home of Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum). I've never been to any of those places, but they all sound like a lot of fun.
I stopped in Wyatt, MO on my way north from Harding for a spring break. It was dark. All I recall was sitting in the car outside the Wyatt Post Office to write post cards. Thanks sis!

I think I know. Do you want me to say or keep the guessing game going?
You can say if you want. I'll add a note up above for people not to peek!

Ding! Ding! Ding!
Can't wait to read more -- I will post sometime this next week, too!
