God makes light shine out of darkness. He hides his greatest treasure--his own glory shining in the face of Jesus--in the hearts of his people, fragile and simple as clay jars. It reminds us that the power is not from us, but from God.
As I dip my quill (electronic though it may be) to write this blog, the title Clay Inkpot reminds me where the power and wisdom come from. If what you read has no merit, that's where bits of me have flaked off and muddied the ink.

Superfluous
I made the hubby get out in the garden with me to install a soaker hose irrigation line so I wouldn't have to keep moving the sprinklers this year.
One of the things that started this "40 days" of rain was that I detailed my van. The landscape sprinklers were on at the library (Firstenberg Center). You guys laid soaker hoses. A few days ago on my way to the Lewis River, I saw a big irrigation sprinkler going in a Brush Prairie field. Goes to show you... (1) it's the little things that count and (2) there is enough blame to share.

My garden is loving the rain, I however am feeling like enough already! I want to go out there in the SUNshine and water the garden myself~
I am awfully thrilled to have a garden again after many years!
